Ragnar Checklist

This is on the spreadsheet, but it doesn't hurt to post it here as well.  I'm looking forward to another Ragnar with friends.

Personal Gear
Three sets of running gear in separate zip lock bags (shirt, shorts, socks and underwear, hat)
Pair of shoes
Running watch/GPS
Sweats
Flip flops
Pillow
Blanket
Towel
Toiletries
First aid (blister kits, mole skin, hot and/or cold compress, sports wrap)
Sunscreen
Money for food
Headlamp, rear blinking light, reflective vest
Race belt
Drivers license

Health/Nutrition
Pre-run: Banana, ½ bagel, Gatorade Pre, Warm up (don't stretch cold muscles)
Banana, ½ bagel, Gatorade Pre
During Run: Unless it’s hot don’t drink more than you normally do on a training run of equal distance
Post Run: Alka Selzer, recovery drink, banana, stretch well
Meals between runs: pasta, subway sandwiches, etc.  Avoid greasy and spicy foods.
Snack Food: Jerky, Red Vines, Animal Crackers, granola bars


Van Items
Six reflective vests
Two headlamps
Two blinking lights
Pair walkie talkies
Cooler
Camera/Video
Van decorations (Crayola Washable Window Crayons & lights?)
iPhone charger (ideally one with a USB ext)
Water (more water than gatorade)
Gatorade
