  3. John - you're talking about leg 14, right? The map this year doesn't look like it goes off on that crazy horse trail. It sticks to the road.

    Of course, it was a last-minute change last year... so I guess there's a risk they could do the same thing...

  4. A last-minute change that they've apparently kept. Check out the course map for leg 14. right there at the bottom it says, "There is a section of dirt trails on Murrieta Creek Multi-Use Path. BE SURE TO STEP OVER HORSE GATES." Sounds like the same stretch to me.

  5. John, I looked at the map for leg 14. The description of the route does not include any mention that the route will be on a trail. I think the note at the bottom may be a remnant left from last year that they still have not removed. I could be wrong, but that is my interpretation.
