This is going to be awesome. Meet in front of my house (6440 Marquette St) by the clubhouse at 7 AM. I've mapped out a run that takes us into the Highlands (via Black Rock Circle), around the Spring-Walnut Canyon-Charles St. loop, and back.

Oh, I got lost on a run up there once. Ran all over in the avocado groves and then got stuck in a barb-wire fence trying to get out to the road. Ruined a hat and a pair of shorts. That was an adventure! Have fun and let me know how it goes.

ReplyDeleteAfter talking to Amy Adams, I realized there might have been some confusion. I didn't run up Happy Camp at all. I went up College Heights (Giles/Hansen/Zeedik street), and ran behind their homes over to the Highlands (close to Miles and Stewart families). Anyway, you can click the link above if you want to see any more detail.
ReplyDeleteThe only adventure I had was getting into the Highlands I found they had put up a fence in Black Rock Circle. Lucky for me they didn't lock it, so I got through!
We'll have to try running to the Highlands via Happy Camp some time. Sounds fun!
Yeah, the Happy Camp route was where I got lost. But I didn't plan it out ahead of time and kind of just headed west...
